Our Story
How It All Began
The Ross Foundation was founded six years ago out of a personal conviction that the most meaningful change happens close to home. What started as a small coat drive — a few boxes, a church parking lot, and a handful of volunteers — grew into something far greater than anyone imagined.
Over the years, we expanded our reach from winter clothing to community health, education, and social services. Each new program was born from listening — from neighbors telling us what they needed most and trusting us to show up.
Today, The Ross Foundation serves over 1,200 families across Tennessee. But we haven't forgotten where we started: one coat, one family, one act of kindness at a time.
